Bouquet

Bouquet — Lenormand card illustration

Meaning

Pleasure, welcome, and things offered gladly. The Bouquet is a gift, an invitation, a kindness — something given rather than earned. It also stands for beauty, charm, and social grace, and for the pleasant surface of things.

Unlike the Clover, its good is not about luck but about goodwill: someone is being generous, or something is being made attractive.

The tone is bright and warm, and it is one of the deck's most reliably positive cards. Its one caution is that it describes the pleasant appearance of a thing, which is not always the whole of it — a Bouquet beside a difficult card can indicate something unwelcome, well presented.

Beside other cards

Usually the modifier. It sweetens and beautifies — Bouquet + Letter is a welcome message, Bouquet + Woman is a woman who is charming or well regarded. Beside Fox or Snake, read the charm as surface rather than substance.
