Welcome to In-Betweens (the "Service"), available at in-betweens.cc. The Service is operated by In-Betweens ("we", "us", or "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and us and govern your access to and use of the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • "Service" means the In-Betweens website, the Lenormand card-draw features, and any related content, tools, and functionality we provide.
  • "Account" means the optional account you can create to save and sync your spreads across your devices.
  • "Content" means all text, card images, card interpretations, graphics, and other material made available through the Service.
  • "User Content" means anything you submit, save, or store through the Service, such as saved draws, notes, or journal entries.

2. The Service — Entertainment and Self-Reflection Only

In-Betweens provides Lenormand card draws and interpretations for entertainment, personal reflection, and cultural interest only.

You expressly understand and agree that:

  • Card draws and interpretations are not professional advice of any kind.
  • The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, business, or other advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • You should not make important life decisions based solely on any reading, interpretation, or content provided by the Service.
  • We make no claim or guarantee that any reading, interpretation, or outcome is accurate, predictive, or will occur.
  • Card draws are generated using ordinary software randomisation and represent no supernatural, paranormal, or predictive power.

If you have concerns about your health, finances, legal matters, or wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional. You use the Service and rely on its content entirely at your own discretion and risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an Account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

4. Accounts (Optional)

Creating an account is optional and free. You can draw and read cards on In-Betweens without signing in.

Signing in lets us save your spreads to your account so they sync across your devices — for example, you can start a reading on your phone and return to it later on your computer. If you use the Service without signing in, your spreads may be stored only on the device you used and may not be available on your other devices.

If you choose to create an account, you sign in using Google Sign-In. We do not offer a separate username or password on the Service. You agree to:

  • Keep your Google account secure and not share access to your account with others; and
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy, and you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of Google Sign-In.

If you suspect any unauthorised use of your account, please let us know through the contact form on the Service (in-betweens.cc/contact). We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • Present readings or content from the Service as professional advice to others, or use the Service to provide professional prediction, counselling, medical, legal, or financial services to third parties;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' Accounts, or our systems;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to probe or scan the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Copy, scrape, reproduce, resell, or redistribute the Service's Content (including card images and interpretations) except as expressly permitted;
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service beyond normal personal use;
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Upload or transmit any malware, or any content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringes the rights of others.

We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating access, for any violation.

6. Intellectual Property

All Content on the Service — including the In-Betweens name and logo, card images, card interpretations, text, design, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service and its Content for your own personal, non-commercial use only, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted. You may not use our Content for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any User Content you create (such as saved draws, notes, or journal entries).

By submitting or storing User Content through the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display that User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you (for example, so you can view your saved readings).

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. We may remove User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

8. Fees and Paid Features

The Service is currently provided free of charge, and we do not currently offer any paid features, subscriptions, or purchases.

We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other purchases in the future. If we do, we will present additional terms (including pricing, billing, and refund terms) at the point of purchase, and those additional terms will apply to those features. We may change, add, or discontinue any part of the Service, including introducing fees for features that were previously free, on reasonable notice.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, authentication, and analytics) and may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that third party's own terms and privacy policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. As stated in Section 2, we make no warranty as to the accuracy or reliability of any reading or interpretation.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless In-Betweens and the people who operate it from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and the spreads saved to it, please contact us through the contact form at in-betweens.cc/contact, and we will delete them for you. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 2, 6, 7, 10, and 11) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by posting a notice on the Service or emailing the address on your Account). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
